Gavin Kaysen’s New Book Will Spotlight Culinary Collaborations

Gavin Kaysen, the James Beard Award-winning chef behind Spoon and Stable, Demi, Mara Restaurant and Bar, and Bellecour Bakery is also a self-published author
In his first cookbook, “At Home,” Kaysen answers a simple question: “What do you cook at home?” The book features over 100 recipes for the home cook, from quick weeknight staples to more complex weekend projects.
But Kaysen has more stories to share—his second book, “The Synergy Series,” will be released this spring via his own Spoon Thief Publishing.
Born from Kaysen’s innovative dinner series of the same name, “The Synergy Series” compiles the personal stories, philosophies, and recipes of chefs including April Bloomfield, Christopher Kostow, Curtis Stone, Daniel Boulud, Daniel Humm, Daniela Soto-Innes, and many others.
With intimate narratives, distinctive recipes, and stunning photography by renowned food photographers Bonjwing Lee and Libby Anderson, the book aims to inspire culinary professionals and food enthusiasts while supporting the next generation of cooks in America. All proceeds from “The Synergy Series” book will benefit Ment’or, a nonprofit organization devoted to inspiring culinary excellence in young professionals.
